Project Description:

MDA's Defence and Security Information Systems (DSIS) Group is working with a customer on the development of advanced Command, Control, Communication and Computer Information Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) software-intensive systems. We are currently preparing for participation in several Command and Control projects with this international customer.

Position Description:

We are currently looking for talented software engineers with a strong background in object oriented software development to join the team. Previous experience within the C4ISR domain is not required, but the desire to learn about this exciting field is essential. As a Software Engineer you will participate in all phases of the software engineering life cycle and your talents will be rewarded with opportunities for career and personal growth in an organization dedicated to success in a team environment.

Requirements (experience/skills):

At least eight years of experience in software development with a strong understanding of objected oriented design and programming.
Proficient in Java and/or C++ in a Windows and/or UNIX environment
Excellent team player A
team-friendly attitude and a willingness to learn and work on all stages of the standard software life cycle including post delivery support
Degree in Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent university degree or technical diploma.
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience in the following is an asset:

Human Machine Interface (HMI)
Geographical Information Systems (GIS)

Comments/Special Considerations:

All candidates must be eligible to obtain NATO Secret Level Security Clearance.
