MDA to Provide Information Solution to Access BC Court Services Online

Richmond, B.C. - MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (TSX: MDA), a provider of essential information solutions, announced today that it has signed an agreement with the Province of British Columbia to make Court Services Online (CSO) accessible to the legal community through BC OnLine. BC OnLine is based in Victoria. MDA is the licensed operator of BC OnLine in partnership with the BC Government.

CSO is an initiative of the Court Services Branch and the BC Judiciary designed to make court information accessible to the public at a regulated fee, offering users the ability to search court files and file court documents via the Internet.

Through MDA's information solution customers of BC Online would be able to access CSO through BC Online, and pay for the information service from their existing BC Online account. This agreement adds another government data partner to BC OnLine, which currently serves more than 2,000 members of the province's legal community. The Attorney General chose to add BC OnLine to deliver their new Court Services Online program based on requests from the legal community, who saw the advantages of using BC OnLine as the single convenient point of access to Government held information sources of various kinds.
