(TSX: MDA), a provider of essential information solutions, announced today that it has been selected by DigitalGlobe, Inc., provider of the world's highest resolution commercial satellite imagery, as the exclusive supplier of ground station solutions offered by DigitalGlobe to international customers for its upcoming high resolution satellite program called WorldView. As part of the agreement, MDA will provide DigitalGlobe's international customers with ground systems capable of programming, receiving and processing imagery from the WorldView satellites. These systems will be offered both as additions to existing satellite ground stations and as completely new ground stations. MDA is currently developing the system and the first installation is planned soon after the launch of WorldView 1.
