For immediate release: January 15, 2003 MDA Signs $6.5 Million Worth of Contracts with Local Governments in Southeastern U.S.Richmond, B.C. - MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (TSX: MDA) announced today that over a two month period, the company’s Geographic Information Products Group secured a total of $6.5 million (CDN) in land information contracts with several cities and counties in the southeastern United States.They range from the provision of land information to local municipalities for use in planning and developing their infrastructure, to supplying county transportation authorities with the essential information they need to design highways, railways, and other transportation corridors. MDA's Geographic Information Products Group secured the contracts during November and December of 2002.
