Richmond, B.C. - MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (TSX: MDA) announced today that the company has received a $3.5 million (CDN) amendment from the Canadian Space Agency to perform additional engineering services on the Mobile Servicing System (MSS), Canada’s contribution to the International Space Station. This work will be carried out between now and May 2003.

The MSS consists of Canadarm 2 and the Mobile Base Station, which were installed on the Space Station in 2001 and 2002.
