For immediate release: May 28, 2003 NASA Exercises $4 Million Contract OptionRichmond, B.C. - MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (TSX: MDA) announced today that NASA has exercised a one-year option with the company’s U.S. Information Systems subsidiary, Dynacs, to provide safety, reliability, and quality assurance engineering services.The increase is valued at $2.7 million U.S., or $4 million (CDN), and covers engineering services through May 2004. This release is the third option to be exercised on the original contract. Dynacs will provide inspections, reviews, and audits of NASA suppliers. The contract is administered through the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, but the services are available to all NASA Centers.
