For immediate release: October 14, 2003 MDA Introduces Appraisal ProductRichmond, B.C. - MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (TSX: MDA) announced today that the company's Information Products group has introduced its first collaborative product resulting from the alliance announced in August between MDA's DataQuick and FNC Inc.The product provides appraisers the ability to search subject properties and qualifying comparable sales using information from DataQuick, augmented by appraisal data. Appraisers need this kind of information in order to select similar properties that have recently been sold, to use in comparison with the subject property they are appraising. DataQuick President Marshall Prentice said: "Combining DataQuick data with FNC's appraisal data creates an information product that's more extensive, more up-to-date and more useful to appraisers, mortgage lenders and realtors." FNC Inc. is a pioneer in real estate collateral management technology in the United States.
