MDA Signs Another HIP Distributor Agreement In The U.K.

Richmond, B.C. - MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (TSX: MDA), a provider of essential information solutions, announced today that it has signed an exclusive contract with an established consortium of inspectors, estate agents and solicitors in the Midlands area called the Home Information Pack Company Ltd. (HIP Co.). The agreement enables the consortium to distribute MDA-produced home information packs (HIPs) under its own brand, or its member's brand.

The consortium has chosen MDA as the partner who can provide the most comprehensive solution to support their offering of a complete HIP to local independent members. Consortium members will be able to integrate HIPs into their property service offerings well in advance of the UK HIP compulsion date of June 1, 2007. Through this agreement, MDA will be expanding its regional coverage across England.
