MDA To Supply Advanced Satellite System Solution

Richmond, B.C. - MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (TSX: MDA), a provider of essential information solutions, announced today that it has been awarded a multi-million dollar contract to supply a confidential customer with a complete system solution for an upcoming high-resolution satellite program.

Under this contract, MDA will provide the customer with an advanced system capable of programming, receiving and processing imagery from the satellite. The system is currently being developed and will be fully operational in 2008.
