MDA Takes Its Building Cost Verification Service To A New Level

Richmond, B.C. - MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (TSX: MDA), a provider of essential information solutions, announced today that SightLine, the enhanced building cost verification service recently launched by its subsidiary Marshall & Swift/Boeckh (MSB) has been well received by customers. This enhanced service verifies the building replacement cost for existing policies in order to help property insurance underwriters insure to value. Year to date contracts for this new service amount to over US $5 million.

MDA's enhanced SightLine service applies innovative new methodology that blends business intelligence tools, certified data sources, and customer contact methods to align an insurance carrier's book of business to insurance-to-value risks, and remediate underinsurance.
