MDA enhances its UK Home Information Pack Search Service

Richmond, B.C. - MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (TSX: MDA), a provider of essential information solutions, announced today that it has developed an information solution called HIP Search Alert, that will allow the home buyers solicitor to replace or refresh the search content they receive in a HIP provided by the seller.

HIP Search Alert will provide online and telephone support for customers and prospects receiving a HIP from the sellers solicitor when acting for the buyer. This managed service will replace the HIP search with an official search or refresh the personal search, as well as add further diligence searches, such as environmental searches.

With the full rollout of HIPs now in place we are now seeing the buyers solicitors replacing or refreshing the content they receive in a HIP to ensure that it meets their own diligence needs. MDA’s HIP Search Alert product ensures that the buyers solicitors get the content they require swiftly and effectively to expedite the sales process.
